This client wanted a full basement renovation. Basement was a mere 650 square feet so the request was that every square inch be utilized to its maximum potential. The intent was to create an in-law suite, integrating a kitchenette, sleeping area, home office, 3 piece bath and laundry room while accommodating the necessary mechanicals and not incurring any structural changes ie. removal of the cumbersome support posts. Now that’s a tall order.
